We had a wonderful food tasting experience in Crete with Way to Crete. The tour focused on two of the island’s most important local products: honey and olive oil. We tasted three different varieties of Cretan honey — carob, pine and thyme honey — and it was fascinating to discover how different their aromas and flavours were. We also had the opportunity to taste Koroneiki olive oil through a food pairing experience, trying it with different local foods and learning how to appreciate its flavour, aroma and characteristics. Ernesto was our guide and made the experience very interesting, relaxed and enjoyable. He shared a lot of knowledge about Cretan traditions, olive oil production and local gastronomy. A fantastic experience for anyone who wants to discover the authentic flavours of Crete beyond the usual tourist attractions.

Ernest is a nice, respectful and lovely driver. We had a great time there in Crete and could easily travel to other places thanks to him. Pick up times were easy to organize. He even brought us water every time. I would definetly recommend him to others!

We had several transfers with Ernst during our two week stay in Crete and they all were wonderful. He is super friendly, talkative and most importantly drives nice and calm. No car sickness even on our long transfer to the mountains. Water is provided and he is more than happy to stop for coffee or whatever you need. Κάναμε το ολοήμερο τουρ στο Σπήλι. Ξεκινήσαμε από το βοτανικό κήπο (maravel garden), περιηγηθηκαμε στα στενά του χωριού και πήγαμε στο λαογραφικό μουσείο του Σπηλίου, όπου ο κύριος Μανώλης ήταν εξαιρετικός και φιλικός. This organization is a rare find. Ernest the leader and tour guide gave us an unforgettable day in Crete - easily our favorite tour. Not only did we experience a pottery workshop, a monastery visit, a visit to the breathtaking Prevail beach, and a scrumptious Greek meal... we also had a caring guide who watched our belongings, gave us copious amounts of water, and shared information about Crete throughout the drive. I will recommend Way To Crete to any friends going to Crete.

Πολύ οργανωμένες εκδρομές με έμφαση στη φύση, την παράδοση και την κουλτούρα. Ιδιαίτερα ενδιαφέρουσα είναι η γνώση που έχουν για την χλωρίδα και την πανίδα της Κρήτης. Κάτι που τους ξεχωρίζει από τα υπόλοιπα γραφεία. Τους προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα.

Επιλέξαμε με την οικογένειά μου το σπήλαιο του Σφενδόνη και το σπίτι του βοσκού. Περάσαμε τέλεια. Μια μέρα γεμάτη όμορφες εικόνες. Ο τοπικός ξεναγός και οδηγός του waytocrete ήταν πολύ ευγενικός. Οποιος επισκεφθεί την Κρήτη, πρέπει να κάνει μια εκδρομή με το συγκεκριμένο πρακτορείο.

We went to the Gorge of Platania, we had a great experience there. The local guides were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We learned quite a bit about the birds that occur in the canyon, as well as the aromatic plants that come out in season. They do a great job!

Excellent experience. We chose the version in the traditional village of Spili, which I highly recommend. What I particularly appreciated is that during the tour we felt very safe and intimate with the staff and residents of the village.
